i recently came back from Zurich on British Airways in (coughing!) economy and hardly anyone purchased food from purchase aboard M&S Menu.
Yes BA’s Nickel-and-diming over a drink and a sandwich in Euro Traveller or Economy, to help expand increase their massive earnings, was anything but a roaring success. Disgruntled passengers don’t appear to wish to spend £3-£4 for the dry M&S sandwich on board and tend to be now choosing to get one thing pre-flight, or in the case of my Zurich to Heathrow journey, individuals simply didn’t consume anyway.
Admittedly there were some purchases of products, but also these were few in number. Evidently, on some flights, there clearly was sought after, on others the reverse.
