Artz & Bugy “We Survive” Album Teaser by Basthead Animation

“The project brief is to create dark mood environments with the feeling of a post-apocalyptic world and for the ending, they wanted to see a colorful flower that blooms from the dark soil. This is summed up in the video with the line ‘When we suffer, we survive.’

“We mostly used Redshift on this project and we created a challenge for ourselves by using Unreal Engine for the first time on one of the scenes.”
 

“So their main message was that life is a big struggle, but they won’t give in and they won’t fail.

“Bound to this main brief, we used characters who are walking from darkness to light in order to support the story. The lion on fire was an iconic figure for the powerful and intense souls that are mentioned in the story.
