In its announcement of the dates, WarnerMedia issued a recommendation that The Batman be watched at home with Filmmaker Mode: “Developed by studios, TV manufacturers and some of Hollywood’s leading directors, Filmmaker Mode disables all post processing (e.g. motion smoothing), preserves the correct aspect ratios, colors and frame rates, and enables your TV to display the film precisely as it was intended by the filmmaker. Filmmaker Mode is available on televisions from select manufacturers.”
THE BATMAN DIGITAL PREMIUM OWNERSHIP
Matt Reeves’ The Batman now has a slew of confirmed release dates for its HBO Max premiere, home video debut, and availability for Premium Digital Ownership.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a screenplay by Reeves and Peter Craig, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, the eccentric Gotham City billionaire whose taste for vigilante justice leads him to assume his alter ego, The Batman. The film also stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell.
