Zachary Corzine: “Creatively, it was a dream brief. Open-ended and allowing for a range of explorations that could manifest themselves in a variety of directions and tones.
“The primary technical challenge was developing the pipeline and workflow to efficiently iterate as the single 3D designer on the project. All of the systems were developed in Houdini and then brought into C4D, which meant I could bake one simulation out while working on the look development of another.
“For rendering, I utilized Otoy’s RNDR Network to render the bulk of the scenes which allowed me to render and handle finishing of the entire two-minute edit in about a week.”
