New ‘Bluey Minisodes’ Coming July 2024

Disney Branded Television has announced brand-new Bluey Minisodes coming this July to Disney Jr. and Disney+. The collection includes 20 one- to three-minute shorts written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio. The minisodes highlight funny and sweet moments featuring Bluey and Bingo, leaning into playful interactions and games that further explore the characters and world of Bluey.

Bluey tells the story of Bluey and her family, with new episodes showcasing the joyful simplicity that can be found in families, turning everyday events of family life, like making a cubby house (blanket fort) or a trip to the beach, into unique adventures that bring to life how children learn and grow through play.

Jointly commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios Kids & Family, Bluey is created and written by Brumm and produced by multi-Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio in association with Screen Queensland and Screen Australia. The series streams to U.S. and global audiences (outside of Australia, New Zealand, and China) across Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney+ through a global broadcasting deal between BBC Studios Kids & Family and Disney Branded Television.

Bluey has won numerous awards, including the International Kids Emmy Awards, a Critics Choice Award nomination, the Television Critics Association Award, and BAFTA Children & Young People Awards.

The series’ first extended-length special, “The Sign,” which premiered in April, has, according to the studio, ranked as both the most-viewed Bluey and Disney Jr. episode premiere ever, with 10.4 million views.
