Heckler Expands with New Head of 3D Craig Stevenson

Richard Mayo-Smith, Managing Director of Heckler Singapore said “We established Heckler Singapore to offer World Class post-production, VFX and CG to clients here and abroad. To deliver this, we need the best of the best talent. Craig brings a wealth of experience, both Creative and Technical, and will ensure that Heckler continues to deliver work of the highest caliber. To top it off, he’s a good bloke too.”
Craig Stevenson, Head of 3D said, “I’m just pumped to come aboard. It’s an exciting proposition. I can’t wait to help build upon the amazing work that the Heckler team has already created in Singapore.”
He was also Principal VFX Lecturer at 3dsense Media School, during which time the institution rose to be voted second in the world, and Stevenson personally placed over 100 students in job roles in the industry.
Stevenson boasts over 23 years of experience as an FX Artist, Compositor, Look Development Artist, and Creature Animator. He joins Heckler after successful stints at Weta Digital, Disney ILM, and DNEG.
Heckler is strengthening their offering of CG work with the appointment of Craig Stevenson as Head of 3D, based in Singapore.
Stevenson has worked on Lord Of The Rings (which received an Oscar for VFX), Interstellar (Oscar and Bafta awards for VFX), as well as World War Z, King Kong, Superman.
