Great Wolf Resorts’ newly launched entertainment umbrella, Great Wolf Entertainment, has transformed its popular woodland characters in preparation for their Hollywood debut. The updated characters will hit the big screen as part of the company’s content strategy that kicks off with its first-ever animated feature, The Great Wolf Pack, due out Summer of 2022. Chris Bailey (Garfield: The Movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Kim Possible) will direct, leading an award-winning team of artists from L.A.-based animation studio Six Point Harness, which produced animation for the Oscar-winning animated short film Hair Love and HBO Max’s all-animated special Tig Notaro: Drawn.
The Great Wolf Pack woodland voice cast includes Brandon Winckler as Wiley Wolf (Sword Art Online, Marvel Avengers Academy, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fire Emblem Heroes, Pokemon Masters); Maya Tuttle as Violet Wolf (Lego, Pokemon, Marvel); Ogie Banks as Oliver Raccoon (Monster High, Ultimate Spider-Man, Naruto); Xanthe Huynh as Sammy Squirrel (Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part III: The Rebellion Story, Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day and K-On!); and Greg Vinciguerra as Brinley Bear.
Great Wolf Entertainment plans to promote its woodland characters through additional animated content, books, and in-resort entertainment.
“Our resorts provide families with joy-filled imaginative adventures, and we hope our newly designed characters and the stories they bring to life will transport families on similar imaginative adventures, with content that can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere,” noted Brooke Patterson, Senior Vice President, Brand Experiences. “We felt it was time to give these beloved characters a new look and update their personalities to help them better connect with today’s family. We’re excited and cannot wait for families to better know our pack through the upcoming animated feature, The Great Wolf Pack, as well as a number of other projects.”
