Laura Nevanlinna, CEO of Ferly, stated, “We’re super excited to start our collaboration with Little Dot Studios to bring Momolu to even more kids in the English-speaking territories, and in particular children and families in the UK. Little Dot Studios’ digital expertise is a fantastic addition to our partner network and we can’t wait to work with them on our kids’ content in the future. Wizz is known for quality kids’ content and we know Momolu will find himself right at home on its wonderful channel.”
Momolu & Friends follows Momolu, a gentle, unassuming panda who has a knack for stumbling into situations requiring his help. His friends experience their own set of everyday problems and Momolu helps them find solutions by encouraging them to use their own skills and strengths. By working together, the animals discover, learn, make mistakes, have tons of fun, and always learn something about design along the way.
Finish animation studio Ferly has just announced its collaboration with Little Dot Studios and children’s YouTube channel Wizz to bring the Momolu world, including both the Momolu & Friends and Momolu Minis preschool series, to an English-speaking audience. The brand seeks to teach young children how to problem-solve through art and design, manage challenges, and work together to find solutions. Momolu & Friends will also be available in the UK via ITV’s new Streaming Service, ITVX, starting this month.
“We can’t wait to add Momolu & Friends to Wizz,” added James Loveridge, Director of Entertainment, Little Dot Studios. “It will be joining some of the best preschool kids’ television shows on YouTube from around the world, therefore the perfect place for the brand to connect with a wider audience. What’s exciting about the partnership is that we’re managing and optimising the brand’s official channels too, with our wealth of kids’ entertainment data and experience, we’ll be building a robust digital ecosystem to develop engagement and create a lasting community for the brand.”
In Momolu Minis, children are invited to come and play on the islands with Momolu the panda and his friends. The stories are packed with early learning, songs, and seasonal fun for intrepid young cubs the world over.
Wizz, run by Little Dot Studios, brings together popular preschool kids television shows, from the UK and around the world including Alphablocks; Baby Jake; Octonauts; Peter Rabbit; Woolly and Tig; Everything’s Rosie; Numberblocks; and now Momolu & Friends. Wizz provides clips and full-length episodes of children’s favourite TV shows, and uploads new content several times a week.
