Mark Taylor, former Nickelodeon Senior Vice President, DreamWorks head of Physical Production, and Sony Pictures Animation VP of Production, has joined the advisory board of God’s Gang Ltd. The company, helmed by the founder, former Disney Channel executive Nimrod Avraham May, is the studio behind the animated series God’s Gang.
Taylor joins the board alongside former DreamWorks Animation COO and CFO and Netflix VP of animation Bruce Daitch; former Disney VP of Marketing and DreamWorks Animation head of Worldwide Television Brand Marketing Sheri Conn; and Toonz Media Group president of Distribution and Co-Production Bruno Zarka.
Taylor’s involvement as a board member includes overseeing timelines, deliveries, and the quality process of new episodes currently in production. He will also be involved in development and production of future episodes.
The animated series God’s Gang targets audiences aged 9-19. It aims to promote peace, unity, and shared values between people, regardless of their religious beliefs, following four martial arts heroes from Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, and Judaism who go on hilarious adventures.
The 13-minute pilot has, according to the studio, amassed over one million subscribers on its YouTube channel and 3+ million views worldwide since launching.
Ehud Landsberg (Transformers: Cyberverse, Vampirina) directs the series with Rob Kutner (Conan O’Brien, The Daily Show, Angry Birds, Ben 10) writing. The series, created by May, is produced by Infinite Frameworks in Singapore. God’s Gang Ltd. includes an international team from more than 13 countries committed to projects free from AI-generated content.
“Joining God’s Gang is a thrilling opportunity to contribute to the creation of meaningful content that transcends boundaries and promotes unity among diverse audiences,” commented Taylor. “I’m excited to collaborate with such a talented team and help drive the success of this groundbreaking series.”
“It gives me great joy to bring one of the finest producers of animated series in the world to the God’s Gang family,” added May. “Mark’s invaluable industry experience will not only play a pivotal role in steering the commercial success of the series but also further develop future episodes so we can continue to promote peace and unity around the world through our unique animated content.”
